A few years ago, after riding season was over, I went to hang up my leathers. I noticed that the hanger that I normally used was more than wore out.
I own a powder coating and small metal fabrication shop, so I decided to start making my own coat hangers out of 3/16 cold rolled steel. The first one that I created, was tested for durability by hanging a cement block on it for 4 months. This proved to be successful as there was no damage. This is how we came up with the name "Hang 'Em High". We still make hangers, one at a time, and offer them in a variety of colors.
Along with these heavy-duty hangers, we (also) make mail & napkin holders, key racks, wall hangings, and coat racks with 2 hooks.
All of the silhouettes that we use are cut out of 14-guage steel. The mail & napkin holders have a 1/4" X 1 1/4" plate welded to them, making the total weight about 2lbs.
I don't like making (or even buying) cheap imported junk. The Hang 'Em High items are all made to last.
If you don't see what you are looking for, or maybe you are not seeing the exact color that you want, let us know ... we will be happy to make a special item for you!
